We have been holding dances where we teach line dancing for several years.
Wherever we teach we find a charitable cause in that town and ask that the dancers make a donation to that cause. We suggest that the donation be $5.00, but if they can not afford that much, any donation is appreciated and they are welcome to dance with us even if they can not afford any donation that week. We collect the donations and give them to the cause once a month.
Our main reason for holding the dances is to get donations for the particular cause. Outside of that the reasons we hold the dances are to have fun and get a little exercise.
